Dr. Herbert Peretti verstorben

We’re saying goodbye to our dear friend Herbert – as a teacher and mentor, he guided so many of us with his sharp mind and gentle patience. His love for everything English was contagious, and he brought wit and warmth into every conversation.
Music was a big part of him. He carried songs the way he carried knowledge – effortlessly and generously. A friend once called him “cultured,” and it suited him perfectly: refined and always giving more than he took.
Most of all, Herbert had a big heart – someone you could count on. His kindness will always stay with us. We will miss him deeply.
